"Alcabala" is the artistic project of João Leal, a 26-year-old musician from Lisbon whose distinctive musical language brings together fragility and experimentation, melody and noise, song and abstraction. His compositions emerge from guitar and voice, gradually unfolding into layered, immersive soundscapes where vulnerability and unrest coexist.
The single "Encarar o Vendaval" was featured on the 2025 edition of the Novos Talentos Fnac compilation, serving as a preview of the conceptual album "Dinossauro Azul", released in April.
The album explores the discomfort of the present and the urgency of finding one's place and purpose in a world in constant collapse. It is performed in its entirety alongside his band, offering an intense and immersive live experience from April onwards.
