At Agra, we have a garden with five beds of vegetables and aromatic herbs — beds that have been gradually built over time by Agra residents during our monthly garden gatherings. Throughout the process, we’ve had the invaluable guidance and enthusiasm of Filipa Almeida from @jardins_al_dente.
\r\nThe beds were fertilized with compost produced right here, made from kitchen and bar food scraps, creating a direct relationship between growing and consuming.
\r\nDuring harvest seasons, the produce is shared with the community, and some plants are used in Agra’s kitchen to enrich dishes with flavors grown just next door.
