Through this meeting, we aim to share the essence of our culture with the Portuguese people who welcome us today – peoples whose pasts intersect and have so many stories to tell together. Through rhythms, music, energy, and movement, we want to create a space for sharing, harmony, and celebration. Each dance is a living story: it tells the history of our people, our traditions, and the strength that unites us.

This workshop is open to everyone—regardless of age, background, or experience—because we believe that dance is a universal language that speaks to the heart.

José Jalane was born in Maputo and is a dancer, choreographer, capoeirista, physical educator, and yoga teacher. Since 2016, he has been part of the CulturArte Association, under the direction of Panaibra Gabriel. He is currently performing in the shows "BANTU" and "Há qualquer coisa prestes a acontecer" by Victor Hugo Pontes.

Dinís Abudo is a Mozambican dancer and performer who began his professional career in traditional and popular dances. He is currently performing in the shows "BANTU" by Victor Hugo Pontes and "Cassandra" by the Ballet Contemporâneo do Norte.
