Christian Stadsgaard is a crucial figure in contemporary Nordic electronic and experimental music, both as an artist and in his role as co-founder of the influential Copenhagen-based label, Posh Isolation (alongside Loke Rahbek). In his main, solo project Vanity Productions, Stadsgaard is known for his
innovative and elaborately expressive style. Under the banner, “broken hearts and broken electronics,” he oscillates between electronic experimentation, noise exploration, and elevated melodic elaboration, directing tender forces with an assertive and impulsive streak.
Stadsgaard also records and performs with Rahbek as Damien Dubrovnik, and more recently his collaborative work with Jonas Rönnberg (aka Varg2tm) and Isak Hansen (Iron Sight) as The Empire Line gained significant notoriety. His collaboration with the seminal artist Merzbow in 2019 led to their shared Coastal Erosion album for iDEAL Recordings, prefacing a recent series of works that take their cues from minimalist composition.
Emma Acs Copenhagen-based artist working at the fault line between fragility and intensity, balancing subdued minimalism with raw emotion. Spanning chamber pop, experimental electronics, and intimate songwriting, the 2020 EP While I Shoot from My Fortress of Delusions marked a devoted turn toward the ethereal and introspective, further developed in the 2023 single Human Siren (Eastern Nurseries).
With collaboration at the heart of her practice, Acs co-leads the dark electronic pop duo Evil House Party with Jacob Formann, contributes a vulnerable dimension to Crack Cloud's bold post-punk sound, and explores uncharted sonic territory with Vanity Productions. Restless and consistently boundary-pushing, her artistic universe keeps redefining itself.
Burning Pyre Producer and composer based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Rooted in the shadowed calm of ambient electronics, his work draws on a broadening web of influences — dub, downtempo and glitch woven into a palette that is at once restless and deeply considered. Pairing organically shifting ambience with skittering percussion, cavernous sub bass and tactile sonic details, his latest full-length Imago, released in January 2026 through Glasgow-based label co:clear, settles into the gentleness and bittersweet sensibility that has remained a constant throughout his body of work.
