sús (Susana Nunes) is a Portuguese performer, composer, producer, and multidisciplinary artist based in Copenhagen. With a body of work rooted in poetic essence, sús inhabits a sonic space that draws from Portuguese tradition, surrounded by experimentalism, electronics, and art pop. Her solo album was released earlier this year by the Madrid-based label Raso Estudio. sús reflects on cycles, transitions, wounds, and the in-betweens. Weaving words into a kind of magical realism, she writes songs without a formula, guided by the faint memory of a cookbook passed down through generations. She has performed at Vinterjazz, Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Mercat de Música Viva de Vic, and on various stages across the independent music scene in Portugal and Spain. She performs both solo and in collaboration with Norwegian artist Kristin Wichstrøm, creating an immersive audiovisual experience.
