In a context where public space is often marked by polarization, this project asserts itself as an act of poetic and political resistance, using the body as a vehicle for social transformation. Through the beauty, risk, and trust inherent in acrobatics, the performance offers a fresh perspective on masculinity, inviting empathy, openness, and recognition of our shared humanity. Through acrobatics and the physicality of the duet, two performers explore affection, intimacy, and love between men, challenging stereotypes associated with masculinity and questioning traditional notions of virility.

“Circus Rehearsals” is the result of an artistic residency at Clube Erva Daninha, in the Erva Daninha studio at Espaço Agra. This program supports shows that are in the creation phase and have yet to premiere. They are presented here in an open rehearsal format, with content and duration still under development. This initiative aims to stimulate the creation of contemporary circus and to foster connections between creators, audiences, and programmers in a relaxed and constructive environment. In addition to providing rehearsal space, Erva Daninha offers financial, technical, and communications support to the artists.
