This collision and symmetry of influences determine his choices, his sets, and the gregarious feeling that leads him, in 2012, together with Smuggla and Lieben, to found Extended Records — a label that stands as a singularity within the inventory of Portuguese labels, with a cohesive and solid catalogue spanning more than four years, made from the best Portuguese house and techno, continuously elevating the veteran talent of Mind Safari, Vil, and Zentex, as well as the oneirism of Bababa, Emauz, Lieben, and Savant Fair.
Condensing the timeline: first all-night sets and a residency at Espaço Quatorze in Braga as a point of initiation and instruction, followed by the formalisation of his presence in the exact and right places such as Gare in Porto, Lux, the Neopop festival, on what is perhaps the best small dancefloor of all time — Passos Manuel in Porto — in the freedom of entering broken beat and sliding into the most affectionate and reverberant acid during the long nights of the beloved Au Lait basement, in the crystalline house on the ground floor of Au Lait, in the explosive robustness of Trip Vision, and in the nights of sharing at Lounge with one of our most beloved: Pedro Beça.
