Ensaios de Circo is the result of an artistic residency at Clube Erva Daninha, in the Erva Daninha venue at Espaço Agra. This program supports performances that are still in the creation phase and have not yet premiered. They are presented here in the format of open rehearsals, with content and duration still under development. This initiative aims to encourage the creation of contemporary circus while also fostering connections between creators, audiences, and programmers in a relaxed and constructive environment. In addition to providing rehearsal space, Erva Daninha also offers financial, technical, and communication support to the artists.

Ensaios de Circo is part of the 2025/26 programming cycle of Clube Erva Daninha, with the support of the Criatório program by Ágora – Cultura e Desporto do Porto.

CDQQ was born from the need for an intimate experience, where there is no need to think too much or understand a complex story — because there isn’t one. In a small space, everyone is close together, interacting with one another. It is a simple performance in which the idea of a show evolves into a participatory experience for both the audience and the juggler. No complex narrative, just sharing a good moment. Just the balls, the juggler, and the audience.
