Aldeias do Futuro is a Portuguese documentary about the Re.Rural movement, following real stories of communities that are reimagining villages as places of sharing, belonging, and possibility.
Through practices of ecological regeneration, social cohesion, local economy, and community culture, the film proposes a reflection on the role of rural areas in building more resilient, participatory futures rooted in the territory.
Let’s watch Villages of the Future together? We are organizing a collective screening of the documentary at Espaço Agra. More than just a screening, it will be a simple gathering to watch the film, open up conversation, and ask: What could emerge here if we come together to care?
